Something old, something new...this ancient Grade I listed building combines a unique blend of historical ambience with modern convenience all under one roof.
Vicars' Hall Reception
This ancient Grade I listed building has a unique elegance and ambience. The medieval origins of Vicars' Hall continue to resonate in its simple beauty and noble architecture.
The room can seat 80 people comfortably, providing the perfect setting in which to greet your guests with a welcome drink before sitting down to dine.
For larger receptions we suggest welcoming guests in the Alexandra room, then dining in Vicas' Hall. The Alexandra Room is just a short stroll across the green into the historic Cathedral Cloisters.
Split over three levels the layout of Vicars' Hall can be adapted to suit the specific vision you have for your reception and to accommodate the number of guests in your party. You can choose the arrangement that will suit the occasion best.
Adjacent to the hall is the green, which against the backdrop of the Cathedral, offers the perfect location for memorable photographs.
Centrally located within the city walls, parking is only a few minutes walk from the venue.
