Norman Cathedrals - explores the building of the Cathedral with a dedicated Children's Guide and all join in a practical session building Norman arches and creating vaulting!

Pilgrims and Pilgrimages - this lively workshop involves role-play.  Each child will be given an identity in advance, and a costume on the day. The children are then given the chance to interview two or three 'real' adult pilgrims in the Cathedral (these might include the King, a nun, friar or a souvenir -seller) who will lead them on a costumed pilgrimage to the Shrine where they can offer their prayers and gifts. Each child will receive a copy of the Prayer of St. Richard.

External Trail - A trail which looks at the outside of the Cathedral and its surrounding buildings. It takes approximately 50 minutes.
