Doorkeepers

The Doorkeepers meet and greet visitors to the Cathedral.  As a very obvious presence at the West Door in their red gowns, they find themselves being asked questions about the Cathedral, Chichester and many other subjects.

To be a Doorkeeper it is important to be sensitive to the needs of the visitor - some want to be helped and shown which way to go around the Cathedral, others are coming in for peace and quiet or to pray.

The minimum commitment for a Doorkeeper is two hours a month.
