Impressions of Irish History

John Bradshaw, who lives locally, is an accomplished photographer who has compiled this extraordinary exhibition, inspired by ten thousand years of Irish history.  In the exhibition, each of his evocative photographs is accompanied by a relevant quotation from Irish Writing, in this way John hopes to provide 'new visual insights into the diversity of the historical narrative...and also to capture some of the remarkable resilience of the Irish People in the face of countless adversities'.  This is a true journey of an exhibition, with powerful images and thought-provoking quotations.

In and Around the Cathedral

Axxess is a group of local artists, many of whom have studied at Chichester College and the University of Chichester.  Axxess work in a variety of media, including painting, textiles and print-making.  The theme of this exhibition - In and Around the Cathedral - will be the artists' individual and creative responses to the Cathedral settting.  The works on display will have been produced especially for this exhibition and Axxess promise 'an exciting and creative visual experience'.  This is a chance to see local artists exploring their Cathedral in a unique and diverse way.
