Embroiderers

Bishop's Throne

The Cathedral embroiderers are called The Seffrid Guild and they meet every Thursday in the Cathedral Offices. Members are expected to attend most Thursdays for a two hour shift.

Their work ranges from making kneelers and repairing vestments to intricate gold work for the Cathedral. The standard of work is high and volunteers should be of a reasonable standard although on the job training is given.

It is important that volunteers enjoy working as part of a team and are flexible.
