Four Chichester Cathedral runners took third place, in their category, in the 2014 Chichester Corporate Challenge. The Challenge, which is in its 23rd year, is a series of three races of 4.5km held on Wednesday evenings around the Chichester City Centre.  The final race took place on the 26th March.

The Cathedral Running Team included the Cathedral Chancellor Canon Dr Anthony Cane and his son Jeremy Cane, the Cathedral's Communar Col (Retd) Andrew Maynard and the Cathedral's Bass Lay Vicar Alexander Dance.

The event, which started in 1992, has seen nearly 30,000 runners cross the line - ranging from Great Britain internationals to local fun runners and near beginners. The four-lap course has remained virtually unchanged throughout, starting and finishing at the Assembly Rooms in North Street and taking in East Street, East Walls and Priory Road.
