Southern Cathedrals' Festival Chichester July 15-17th 2010 50th Anniversary

Every July for the past fifty years the choirs of Winchester, Salisbury and Chichester Cathedrals have joined together in a Festival of Music, hosted in turn by each of the three Cathedral communities.

This year the SCF is to be held in Chichester under the direction of the Cathedral's Organist and Master of the Choristers, Sarah Baldock.  She will be joined by Directors of Music David Halls (Salisbury) and Andrew Lumsden (Winchester), in conducting the joint and separate forces of boy choristers, girl choristers along with lay clerks and lay vicars (the professional adult members of the Cathedral choirs).  The choral services lie at the heart of the Festival, which also includes concerts given by the choirs and distinguished guests.  Please look out for further publicity and put the dates in your diary!
