Cloisters Café serves teas, coffees, home made cakes, freshly made lunches and much more...

"Cloisters" prides itself on fair trade suppliers and freshly cooked food, featuring dishes such as smoked haddock with a gruyere and tomato gratin, supreme of chicken in a mushroom and tarragon sauce and roasted sweet potato with a bean ragu.  Old favourites also appear on the menu along with baked potatoes and a range of hot and cold sandwiches.

There is a roast on Sundays and bookings can be made in advance. "Cloisters" also has a beautiful walled garden and the stunning Cathedral spire can be seen through its glazed roof.

From January - March 2012, Monday - Friday, the Cloisters Café is offering lunchtime 'Winter Warmers' specials.  Only £4.99 for a hot main course or £6.50 for a hot main course with Chef's dessert of the day.
