Chorister Auditions at Chichester Cathedral

Chichester Cathedral is running an official audition for Choristers on 6th November and any interested families are welcome to come along.

There are places in the Choir for boys currently in Year 3 & 4 to start in January or April 2011, and boys in Years 2, 3 and 4 may also audition for places to start in September 2011.  Most of the major Chorister scholarships will be awarded on this day and are worth 50% to 100% of the school fees.  The audition will last approximately 15 minutes with the boys required to sing a song of their own choice, read some unfamiliar words and complete some aural tests (singing back notes and groups of notes played on the piano).  It is not necessary to have previous music training as simply having potential is more important than anything else!
