An illustrated lecture by Jaume Plensa

Thursday 17th March 2011 at 6.30pm

Jaume Plensa, the internationally renowned Barcelona based sculptor, delivered his lecture in the Nave of the Cathedral.  He spoke about some of his previous work, and focused on his proposal for the Hussey Commission, entitled 'Together'.

The Dean & Chapter hope to commission this work for the aerial space above the Arundel Screen, subject to statutory permissions and external funding.

The lecture was introduced by the Chancellor, Canon Dr Anthony Cane who reminded the audience of the careful process Chapter has followed to date.
