Services on Christmas Eve

All are welcome to attend our services on Christmas Eve:

CRIB SERVICES (three opportunities to attend)
Christmas Eve at 11.00am, 2.00pm and 3.30pm

Come along and sing some carols and hear the Christmas story unfold as we build the Christmas crib.

These services are specially designed to appeal to children but are open to all.

Children are invited to dress up as characters from the Nativity (angels, shepherds, sheep, donkeys, oxen etc.) if they wish.

Free tickets must be booked in advance, and will be available from 9.30am on Friday 26 November.

FIRST EVENSONG OF CHRISTMAS
Christmas Eve at 5.30pm

A service of Choral Evensong sung by the Cathedral Choir, with seasonal music and congregational carols.

SAID CHRISTMAS EUCHARIST with organ music
7.30pm

Free tickets must be booked in advance, and will be available from 9.30am on Friday 26 November.

Please note - attendance at this service will be limited to allow for a greater level of social distancing.

MIDNIGHT MASS
Christmas Eve at 11.30pm

The First Eucharist of Christmas, led by The Bishop of Chichester, with music sung by the Cathedral Choir.

Free tickets must be booked in advance, and will be available from 9.30am on Friday 26 November.

Please note that seating for most services will not be socially distanced. Face coverings should be worn throughout all events, and we ask that attendees remain mindful of each other's personal space.
