Accessible Learning Resources for Adults

Offering engaging opportunities for people with support needs is really important to us.

Remote Art Views@Chichester Cathedral

ArtViews is an opportunity to look at and discuss a selected work of art in Chichester Cathedral. The sessions are open to anyone interested in joining the art discussion and are also dementia friendly.

Unfortunately ArtViews@Chichester Cathedral events in the Cathedral are currently on hold.  In the meantime we are excited to launch a remote version of ArtViews and would be so pleased if you could join us online for discussions about art in the Cathedral.

These will take place on social media (Facebook, Twitter & Instagram) every two weeks from Saturday 11th April 2020 - 10.00am, with questions being posted throughout the day.

Accessible Guided Tours - Book from September 2020

Our accessible guided tour is a shortened and more interactive version of our standard guided tour. The tour appeals to the senses through touch, sight and sound, exploring objects, focusing on Cathedral features and listening to music. This tour is appropriate for a range of our visitors including people living with Dementia or people living with other neurological impairment. Tours are currently on hold however we are taking bookings from September 2020. If you would like to discuss tailoring a visit especially for a group of adults with specific support needs, please get in touch with Sue Poil, Schools and Adults Officer at  sue.poil@chichestercathedral.org.uk
