Lent Bible Study on Zoom: The Letter of St James
Lent is a time for pondering how we respond to God's call in our lives and what it means for our faith to make a difference to the way we live.
Alongside our Lent Lectures and the New Testament Course, we are offering small Bible study groups on Zoom during Lent focussing on a book that explores some of these themes in the New Testament: the Letter of James.
All you need is a Bible (and an optional cup of tea!) in hand. It's informal and relaxed and all are welcome. There are five sessions (the final sessions will be during Holy Week) and each session lasts roughly an hour with about six people per group. Zoom details will be sent to you prior to the meeting. The groups will meet at:
Tuesdays 10am beginning on 23rd February
Wednesdays 4pm beginning on 24th February
Thursdays 7pm beginning on 25th February
Leaders will be using Tom Wright's book 'For Everyone Bible Study Guide: James' (SPCK, 2012) but you don’t need to have bought or read this beforehand to take part.
