This beautiful photographic trail uses forty images taken from unusual perspectives to explore the Cathedral and is suitable for all ages and abilities. The booklet has a map at the front showing the route to be taken and a list at the back of the objects. The idea is you find the first object in the first photo and go and stand by it and then turn up to 360 degrees to find the next object in the next photograph. The objects can be up high or down low and are often of unusual views of an object which require good observation skills. The photo trail leads around the whole Cathedral.
The booklet also makes a nice souvenir of your visit to the Cathedral. The booklets cost £2 each and must be pre-ordered and paid for before a visit from firstname.lastname@example.org. They can then be collected on the day of your visit, having made a prior arrangement, either at the Cathedral Offices or from the Cathedral shop.
Explore the Cathedral with these fun activity booklets for children aged 5-11. Each trail takes up to 50 minutes to complete. To request printed copies, free of charge, contact Sue in the Learning and Engagement Department on 01243 812497 or email@example.com.

Chichester Cathedral is now home to eight of the most popular Diocesan REsource Boxes. The boxes are designed to support teaching and learning in RE and include well-chosen story books, DVDs, and a huge range of resources.
The eight boxes available to borrow from Chichester Cathedral are: Christianity KS1, Christianity KS2, Gill Vaisey, Bereavement, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism.
Schools themselves must arrange for the collection and return of resource boxes from the Learning and Engagement Department. Boxes can be collected and returned at any pre-arranged time. There is no charge for School Friends of Chichester Cathedral or schools with Partnership Agreements with the Diocese of Chichester to borrow these boxes. Charges for non-School Friends and non-partnership schools: £50.00 for a 6 week loan period and £5.00 per week if overdue to return.
For full contents list of each box and to book please contact Sue Poil: firstname.lastname@example.org or 01243 812497.
Schools can borrow up to six brasses for £25 (£15 for School Friends) for school fetes and special events at weekends and during school holidays. Our brasses range from sheep, lions and a griffon to lords, ladies and bishops. Some are over 1 meter tall!
We have a beautiful Cretan Labyrinth for use indoors which is portable, easy to assemble and can be loaned out to schools.
The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol, linked around the world with stories of journeys, encounters and transformation. It also represents a journey towards a spiritual centre, enabling us to become aware of ourselves, our neighbours and the world, and our relationships with each of them.
Costs £25 for two weeks (£20 for School Friends) plus £10 for any additional week (£8 for School Friends) from Friday to Friday, negotiable.
Whatever your chosen subject area the Labyrinth can always be used to help develop spirituality. It can be linked and used in many areas of the curriculum. For example, it could tie in with history work on Ancient Greece, (Theseus and the Minotaur) or RE or Geography work on journeys/pilgrimage or Maths on shape and symmetry. A Teacher’s Resource Pack is available at £5.00.
The Labyrinth is 6.5 metres square and includes full instructions for installation.
For further information on any of these opportunities please contact Sue in the Learning and Engagement Department on 01243 812497 or email@example.com.
