23 March 2020 1.00pm - 4.30pm

Join us on a journey exploring choral music at the Young Voices Festival 2020 – a collaboration between Chichester Cathedral, West Sussex Music and local schools.

Sussex Voices is the theme for 2020. Take your pupils on a journey around Sussex through contemporary choral pieces, a song for Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor, local folk songs and some choral surprises on the day.  The event includes an exciting opportunity to sing alongside West Sussex Young Voices and to hear the Cathedral organ.

There are up to 30 places available for each school and the musical content is predominantly aimed at upper KEY STAGE 2 pupils. Following preparation in school, pupils will enjoy a very special afternoon of rehearsing and performance in Chichester Cathedral.

We will also be offering a CPD event for teachers on Tuesday 14 January to support schools to make the very most of this unique opportunity.

To secure your place there is a £35.00 booking fee which includes a place at the CPD session and the musical scores. There is a separate charge if you would like West Sussex Music to help you prepare in school.

To register your school's place, access the musical resources, and find out more about how WSM can help with preparation for this event, please contact Emily.Barden@westsussexmusic.co.uk
