In November 2018, to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, the Cathedral was home to an amazing willow structure in the North Transept designed by land artists Mark and Rebecca Ford. The resulting 'Spire of Peace' invited schoolchildren and visitors to consider themes of Remembrance and Peace-making, and to write their own pledges for peace. Here is a short video that shows how this inspiring installation was put together.
