The School Friends' Service planned for Wednesday 14 October 2020 has been cancelled due to Covid.
The 2018 School Friends' Service was part of the nationwide INSPIRE event on the morning of Friday 9 November. The project called on young people to think about peace and conflict resolution in their local communities and personal relationships.Schools were invited to sign the INSPIRE Peace Charter and create their own Peace pledges to bring to the event, as well as contribute in the form of a song, reading or prayer. Following the service, pupils worked with professional artists to contribute to a large scale art installation on the theme of Remembrance and Peace in the North Transept.
