Cloisters Café Award Winning Hospitality Team...

On the 16th March the Cloisters Hospitality Team made their mark at one of the most prestigious catering competitions in the country.  Members of the Cloisters team entered the Wessex Salon Culinaire, a competition staged at the Hotel and Catering Show in Bournemouth.  Cooking a variety of dishes, the team came home with numerous prizes: Andrew Harvey (Cathedral Enterprises General Manager) achieved a Gold, Barry Kearns (Cloisters Chef) achieved a Silver, Ian Harvey achieved a Merit, and Chantelle Hammond won a Silver, Bronze and a Merit.

Andrew's daughter, Charlotte Harvey, a casual member of the Cloisters Café Team, also tasted success by coming third in the final of the national FutureChef 2010.  FutureChef is a rigorous competition where almost 8,000 young people cook their way through four stages over a period of 12 months.
