John Bishop came to Chichester Cathedral for three days earlier this year to film an episode of the BBC programme 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

John's links with the Cathedral are through his Great Great Grandfather who was a lay vicar at Chichester Cathedral from 1853 - 1864.

During his time at the Cathedral John discovered that the role of a Lay Vicar was a professional musical posting and that his Great Great Grandfather played an important role in the Cathedral's Choir.
