Hundreds of local people attended a General Election Hustings in Chichester Cathedral last night, on the eve of the General Election.  Chichester candidates made their party's case for election and fielded questions submitted by Chichester voters.  The Chichester candidates attending the event were:

Heather Barrie - Green Party
Jonathan Brown - Liberal Democrats
Andrew Emerson - Patria
Mark Farwell - Labour
Gillian Keegan - Conservatives
Andrew Moncreiff - UK Independence Party

The Dean of Chichester, the Very Reverend Stephen Waine, was Chairman of the Forum.  At the beginning of the evening he invited each candidate to give a short presentation.  The Chairman then followed this by asking questions that had been submitted by the audience.  The candidates responded to questions on the environment, education, overseas funding and the refugee crisis.
