Isaac Waddington, the former chorister from Chichester Cathedral who recently came fifth in the final of 'Britain's Got Talent', is to receive an achievement award as part of Fareham Borough Council's Citizen of Honour Award Scheme.

Councillors at an executive meeting voted to recognise Isaac's musical achievements, and his recent success on ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent.'

Isaac was formerly Head Chorister at Chichester Cathedral and was educated at the Prebendal School which is situated next to the Cathedral (all the choristers are educated at the Prebendal).  Isaac also won BBC Young Chorister of the Year in 2012, the year he left the school.

Since finishing fifth in the talent show final Isaac has signed a recording contract with Simon Cowell's firm Syco.  He recently performed at Bestival on the Isle of Wight and starts his studies at Guildford Music College this month.  He also recently passed his Grade 8 singing exam with distinction!
