Male and Female Peregrines with Chicks - May 2015

After several days of anticipation, the first three chicks from the clutch of four eggs laid by the Chichester Cathedral peregrines have hatched.  The first chick was first heard at 11pm on Saturday 9th May, the second at 5am on Sunday 10th and the third today, Tuesday 12th May.

The female peregrine was seen at about 7am on Sunday morning giving the new chicks their first feed.  The chicks start getting stronger once they have had their first meal.

The wait is now on for the fourth chick to hatch!
