As the Cathedral celebrates 950 years of history this year, we are looking to the future with a major initiative to preserve one of its most treasured traditions— our music. Every donation made to music during this special anniversary year will be doubled thanks to generous match-funding.

The Festival of Flowers is a four day spectacular in the setting of Chichester’s 950 year old Cathedral, taking place from 3 - 6 June 2026.
Experience a breath-taking celebration of nature and artistry as over 50,000 flowers transform the Cathedral with colour, scent and beauty.

Our goals for responsible environmental stewardship include reducing our consumption of fossil fuels, welcoming nature into our green spaces and being a place for our communities to engage with nature as well as on environmental issues.

Your support helps maintain our sacred heritage, making a lasting difference for worshippers, visitors and our community.
Within these ancient walls you will find over nine centuries of history, inspiring architecture, beautiful art both ancient and modern, and a living tradition of faith. Our renowned choir and rich musical life lie at the heart of the Cathedral’s worship
Coming to the Cathedral offers to everyone an experience of beauty and transcendence, not only through the daily services that are celebrated here, but also concerts and special events, and simply through experience of the building and its surroundings.
The Cathedral is also a space for reflection, where it is possible to pause, light a candle, to find stillness and space, and to encounter God in the midst of everyday life.
Whatever brings you through our doors, we look forward to welcoming you.
