Reverend Canon Dr Dan Inman

Reverend Canon Dr Dan Inman

The role of Chancellor goes back to the twelfth century, and has always involved responsibility for education and learning in the Cathedral.

In the 21st century this means such things as having oversight of the Cathedral's Learning and Visitor Services Departments, delivering an annual series of public lectures, and being Canon Librarian. The current role also includes being a governor of several schools, lecturing at the University of Chichester, a trustee of various charities relating to theology and social engagement in the city and nationally, as well as being a national Bishop's Adviser for Ordained Ministry.

The Reverend Canon Dr Inman was most recently the Diocesan Director of Ordinands, having been previously Chaplain and Junior Research Fellow of The Queen’s College, Oxford.
