We are seeking volunteers to welcome and engage visitors as they enter the Cathedral.
Our 'Welcome' is at the heart of all that we do in the Cathedral. The Welcomer acts as an ambassador for the Cathedral and, like other visitor-facing volunteer colleagues in the Welcome team, provides a positive and sensitive welcome, offering information, help and advice.
No previous experience is required but we do need Welcomers who have:
- a warm, friendly and helpful manner;
- excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of visitors;
