From celebrating our 950th anniversary, to welcoming more than 200,000 people through our doors, this has been a year of renewed confidence and vibrant activity across Cathedral life.

This meeting reflects on the many ways that life was expressed through worship, music, art, events and education, alongside the careful stewardship of our historic Cathedral and estate. It is also an opportunity to hear from our Dean, Edward, our Residentiary Canons, staff and volunteers whose dedication, talent and service brought the Cathedral’s mission to life and shaped this remarkable year.

We kindly ask you to reserve your space to help us manage capacity.

As part of the agenda, the Meeting will also touch upon:

  • The financial statements of the Cathedral for the previous year;
  • A report on the fabric, goods and treasures of the Cathedral;
  • A report of the proceedings of the deanery synod;
  • A report on changes to the Electoral and Community Roll since the last annual meeting.

The event will begin with a service of Choral Evensong (commencing at 5.30pm) before the formal start of the Annual Meeting around 6.30pm. The Meeting will be followed by light hospitality in the Cathedral kindly provided by the Cloisters Kitchen & Garden.

We look forward to seeing you there!
