Chichester Cathedral Tour: A Cathedral Celebration in Poetry and Prose

This varied tour hears about the Cathedral from writers in prose: a personal view from local poet Charles Crocker, Bishop's Verger and Cathedral guide, and in contrast, from professionals, Nairn and Pevsner, in their famous series ' Buildings of England.'

The poets covered in this tour include Edmund Blunden, writing of his experiences in the Royal Sussex Regiment in the First World War, and former poet laureate Philip Larkin, providing his account of the Arundel Tomb.

The tour will start with coffee in the Alexandra Room. The Alexandra Room is accessed through the Cloisters Café.
