On Wednesday 2nd March the Cathedral invites all to join Pope Francis' call across the world for prayer and fasting for peace in Ukraine.
The Cathedral will be holding a service of prayer and intercession at 12.00pm to which all are welcome.
A prayer for Ukraine, Russia and peace
O God,
it is your will to hold both heaven and earth
in a single peace.
Let the design of your great love
shine on the waste of our wraths and sorrows,
and give peace to Ukraine,
peace among nations,
and peace in our hearts,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
