Returning from 3–6 June 2026, this much-loved biennial Festival will see more than 50,000 blooms transform Chichester Cathedral in a spectacular four-day celebration of nature and creativity.

The 2026 Festival marks a special milestone — its 30th anniversary. Since its beginnings in 1996, the Festival of Flowers has grown into one of the region’s most significant and best-loved events, attracting visitors from across the UK to experience its breathtaking displays and the Cathedral reimagined through flowers.

Shop

Visitors can browse through an exclusive range of stalls within the on-site Market, nestled in the Cathedral’s 600 year-old Cloisters. The Market offers unique products from a range of Sussex-based suppliers and businesses - from handcrafted floral arrangements, items for house and home, to local wine and produce. It will also see the welcome return after a four year hiatus of much-loved the Festival Plant Market. It's a perfect opportunity to find that special gift or memento of your visit.

Eat

Take time to pause and enjoy a range of refreshments across the Cathedral site, whether you are looking for a light bite, something sweet, or a place to sit and relax.

Cloisters Kitchen & Garden
Indulge in a selection of teas, coffees, cakes and light lunches at the Cloisters Kitchen & Garden. Nestled within a tranquil garden setting, it offers a serene place to enjoy afternoon tea or simply unwind amidst the natural beauty of the Cathedral surroundings.

Picnic bags are also available to purchase, presented in a branded Festival of Flowers keepsake tote bag, perfect for enjoying elsewhere on site.

You can pre-book an afternoon tea in Vicars' Hall when you book your tickets.

South West Lawn
Find a Pimm’s bike, ice cream trike and an additional barista coffee station. Seating is available.

North East Lawn Entrance
Stop by HVAN for coffee, drinks and sweet snacks.

ExploreThose travelling from further afield may want to conclude their visit by exploring the historic city of Chichester, from the Roman city walls and tranquil green spaces to a mix of independent shops and eateries, as well as big High Street names - all a short distance from the Cathedral. Stay overnight at one of the Cathedral's holiday properties. 

Booking 

Standard online tickets prices are £21 per person, £25 on the door. Note, the early bird offer price of £18 ended on 31 December 2025. No group discounts. Under 16s and carers free. 

The Festival is open from 9.30am – 5.00pm, last entry 4.15pm.   Please note that pre-booked tickets have priority entry.
