Musician Biographies
Robert & Linda met on a dating website. They married in 2008, created “Piano À Deux” in 2010, and have performed in the UK, Italy, Germany, Finland, Singapore, and the USA.
Their repertoire includes the familiar while their research has led to discovering neglected composers like George Onslow.
In 2025 “From Rachs to Riches”, a concert featuring Rachmaninoff’s Two Piano Suite Op 17 and their “Scenes From Porgy & Bess” all played from memory, had an ecstatic reception.
To date, they have released four CDs. ‘France Revisited’, (Divine Art label) includes Onslow’s Op 7 Sonata, his six solo pieces, Debussy’s ‘Petite Suite’ and songs by Poulenc (arranged by PAD). ‘France Revisited 2’ with Onslow’s Op. 22 Sonata was released in April 2026.
Critics said ‘France Revisited’ was “piano four hands ...at its very best..” Their third CD: ‘Porgy, Preludes & Paris’, with their arrangements of music by Gershwin, also had glowing reviews.
‘Strictly Not Bach’ (2011), their début CD was highly praised. Through this, £2,000 was raised for WorldVision.
Novel programme titles like ‘From Mistresses to Manhattan’ presented with charm, humour and drama, combined with their original musical arrangements have won them worldwide acclaim.
Their concerts in Finland (Summer 2025) and the USA (April 2026) won standing ovations. A return to Finland followed in Summer 2026.
Their latest CD “France Revisited 2” was also well received. Gerald Fenech (“Spotlight”) on their transcription of Liszt’s “Hungarian Rhapsody” said, “ A barnstormer of a piece, the interpretation is up there with the very best.”
