Resilience in Clay comprises seven sculptural portraits. Each of the subjects are connected by the fact that they are building a new life in Chichester, some having found refuge from persecution based on conflict and religious, social and or ethnic discrimination.
This event provides a platform for engaging discussions on the diverse cultural values, faiths, and the power of art and culture in fostering connections.
The panel will include Interim Dean of Chichester, The Reverend Canon Simon Holland, Artist Kate Viner, and representatives from Sanctuary In Chichester – a charity committed to supporting refugees and asylum seekers entering the district in great need.
Booking
The event is free to attend but booking is essential. This event will take place on 26th August 2023 (7.00pm) in Vicars’ Hall, refreshments will be served.
