Sung Eucharist for Racial Justice Sunday

We invite you to join us for a Sung Eucharist for Racial Justice Sunday which will be attended by The Mayor of Chichester and members of Chichester City Council.

Wednesday 18th January marked the start of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, and the theme is 'Be-Longing: Praying for Unity amidst Injustice'.

The gospel calls all Christians continually to confront the idolatry of racism and the evils in our world and to proclaim justice and mercy as we seek to walk with our God (Micah 6:8). As we continue on our journey to seek racial justice, we invite our community to join us in prayer:

You made us, God, in your own image, and then became one of us, proud of those you have made. Make us proud of being part of that worldwide family, and eager to discover and celebrate your image in every person, every culture, every nation that we are privileged to encounter.
