Kindness Day is marked annually on the 13th November. It is a day to celebrate and promote kindness in all its forms, uniting people globally.

This year, the Chichester Cathedral Friends are encouraging the public to take part by completing their own acts of kindness. Across the Cathedral and its grounds are words of encouragement, including ‘Call a loved one’ and ‘Be kind to yourself’.

The Friends have also pre-paid for a number of hot drinks at The Buttery, Cafe Paradiso, Crispins Cafe, Little London Cafe and Luckes, a surprise for their visitors.

The Chichester Cathedral Friends are an important part of the Cathedral family. For over 80 years they have contributed to the life and work of the sacred place of worship, hosting a variety of events and providing opportunities to meet new people and share experiences in the heart of the city.

If you would like to learn more about the Friends, or become a member, you can join them at one of their monthly coffee mornings in the Cathedrals South Transept (first Saturday of every month).
