We are delighted to have been rated on the Which? list of the Best 63 UK historic attractions.

The list has been rated for by visitors (2,994 Which? members). The total score is based on the visitor’s overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend, which the Cathedral scored an impressive 77%. Our free entry and lack of crowds scored five stars, being the two highest performing factors.

The Cathedral is one of the only two attractions in West Sussex to make the list (alongside Wakehurst who scored 85%), going up against some of the nation's favourite attractions including St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Kensington Palace, and Stonehenge.

It’s a real honour to find ourselves in distinguished company; from the ancient to the modern! This is all down to the hard work our staff and volunteers do in making every visitor feel welcome, regardless of their reason for visiting.

Rebecca Lewry-Gray, Visitor Experience Manager

Chichester Cathedral is open Monday to Saturday (9.00am - 5.00pm) and Sunday (12.00pm-2.00pm) - entry free, donations welcome and there's no need to book. We hope to welcome you soon!
