Once a month there is an opportunity for anyone to drop in to the Cathedral to enjoy a cup of coffee and maybe make new friends in the process! Regular monthly Coffee Mornings are held in the South Transept and are hosted by The Friends of the Cathedral.
The Friends make a vital contribution to the life and work of the Cathedral and its Community and this year the Group celebrates its 80th anniversary.
The Coffee Mornings are held in the very heart of the place the Group has supported so effectively these last 80 years. They will welcome anyone who drops by wanting to find out more about their work, and their active calendar of events and fun activities that are held throughout the year. Being a Member is a wonderful way of making new friends, all of whom have great enthusiasm and a strong sense of companionship in their activities and initiatives to support the Cathedral.
You’ll find the Friends in the South Transept near the Information Desk for their regular meetings which are generally held on the first Saturday of each month.
