Winner of the Women’s Prize for Fiction 2018, Kamila Shamsie’s Home Fire is a compelling and insightful story of loyalties torn apart when love and politics collide.   Taking us from the suburban streets of Wembley to Islamic State ravaged Raqqa, from Massachusetts to Istanbul and Pakistan, Shamsie’s powerful novel tackles issues of terrorism, political showboating and jihadi recruitment through the prism of a love story.   A reimagining of Sophocles’ classic drama Antigone, Home Fire shows the power of fiction to illuminate the issues and dilemmas of today.

A ticket costs £7.00 and includes breakfast of coffee, orange, croissant and preserves.  It also entitles you to purchase a copy of the Book at Breakfast at a discounted price in the Cathedral shop.  Tickets can be purchased online with the booking link.
