Chichester Cathedral is seeking a Designer for the 16th Festival of Flowers, taking place from 6–10 June 2028, commencing with the Preview Evening.
The Festival of Flowers is held biennially and is a major fundraising event for Chichester Cathedral. It brings together florists, flower arrangers, designers, sponsors, volunteers and visitors for a celebration of creativity and floral design within the Cathedral.
The 15th Festival of Flowers, held in 2026, welcomed over 11,000 visitors and raised over £175,000 through ticket sales, sponsorship and Festival Market sales, helping to support Chichester Cathedral.
The Designer role
Each Festival of Flowers has an overarching design and theme, developed by the Festival Designer. The Designer plays a key creative role in shaping the Festival and works collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
The role is a high-profile and rewarding opportunity for someone with the creativity, experience and enthusiasm to develop a grande vision for the Festival and work with others to bring it to life.
