Chichester Cathedral is to be open for individual private prayer only from Thursday 5th November.
The Cathedral will be open every day, Monday - Saturday (10.00am – 4.00pm) and Sunday (12.00pm - 2.00pm). We have made a number of changes to ensure those who visit us can do so safely, responding directly to guidance issued by Public Health England, and specific guidance for places of worship from the Church of England. Public Worship
Whilst public worship will be suspended (as of 05/11/20), the Cathedral will continue to stream services online, including the weekly Sunday Eucharist.
Further digital resources for those isolating include the Act of Spiritual Communion and prayer submission via email. These resources, including our live-streamed services, have been developed to observe at a time and pace that works for you. Find out more >>
