'Thy Kingdom Come'

Wednesday 16th - Sunday 20th May 2018

I cannot remember in my life anything that I've been involved in where I have sensed so clearly the work of the Spirit - Archbishop Justin Welby

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians from around the world to pray between  Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come and know Jesus Christ.  What started out as an invitation from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

There will be a prayer installation in the Cathedral's north transept from Wednesday 16th - Sunday 20th May 2018.  Free entry and all are welcome.

At 7.00pm on Sunday 20th May 2018, in the Cathedral nave, the Bishop of Lewes, Richard Jackson will be hosting a Beacon event for The Archbishops' Thy Kingdom Come prayer initiative.  There will be music, worship, prayer and stories of God at work throughout the diocese.  Booking details to follow soon.
